Terry Buffington Foundation Seattle Luncheon at Inatai Foundation August 10

We are very excited to host our first ever event in Seattle!
Join us Saturday August 10, 2024 at Inatai Foundation https://inatai.org/ where Civil Rights Movement Activist, Cultural Anthropologist, Southern Historian, and WSU Pullman Digital Technology & Culture lecturer Terry Buffington will introduce the Terry Buffington Papers 1952-2014 https://finding-aids.lib.unc.edu/70107/#d1e49 and how it can be used as a Primary Source for Civil Rights information which is not only a part of American History but essential for student and scholarly engagement.
There will also be a special presentation from WSU Pullman Black Student Union former President, and recent WSU Marketing and Communications graduate Ariana Williamson https://communities.wsu.edu/resources-for-all/meet-our-teams/ariana-williamson/.
Lastly there will be a film screening from the Terry Buffington Papers, Fundi: The Story of Ella Baker https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ella_Baker. Lunch will be served. Seating is limited.
