Our 1st Annual Black History & Southern Dinner Fundraiser was a huge success and it is with great honor to announce the Terry Buffington Foundation 2nd Annual Black History & Southern Dinner Fundraiser. Saturday, February 10, 2024 at The Gladish Cultural & Community Arts Centre from 7:00 PM – 10:00 PM.

Very Special Guest Speakers We have a diverse line up of speakers that you will not want to miss!

The evening’s highlight will be a formal presentation by Cultural Anthropologist Prof. Terry Buffington on civil rights digital collection, the Terry Buffington Papers 1952-2015, as part of her continuing Anthropological work. The presentation will demonstrate how the collection can be used as a primary source which is essential for student and scholarly engagement in terms of teaching and learning.

$1,000.00 Donor Table (Exclusive round table package that seats up to 6 people comfortably. The donor tables include 3 bottles of wine per table, drinks included on the table, and exclusive appetizers along with the best seats in the house! Your table also comes with its own dedicated server for your convenience.)

Tickets go on sale on Monday, January 1, 2024. Seating is limited and the tickets will sell quickly, so mark your calendars!

    dialog for engagement. Our community is asking its people to move forward; however, we can’t move forward without addressing inequality, equity and racism. Professor Buffington is real-life history, present-history, and a gateway to promoting a positive future.
